September is National Preparedness Month, and 亚色影库 Emergency Management wants to make sure our campus community is prepared to receive important information during an emergency.
亚色影库 will test its Emergency Notification System on Thursday, September 10, at 10:00 a.m.
During the test, notifications will be sent through:
- Text message
- Voice call
- 亚色影库 email
- Desktop alert
- Everbridge App
Important: Your @iup.edu email address is the only contact method automatically registered to receive 亚色影库 Emergency Notifications.
To receive emergency notifications by text message or phone call, you must register your cell phone number in the Emergency Notification System. You can also download and register for the Everbridge mobile app to receive alerts directly through the app.
We strongly encourage every student and employee to register a cell phone number. During an emergency, you may not be checking your 亚色影库 email, and receiving a text, phone call, or app notification can help ensure critical safety information reaches you quickly.
亚色影库's Emergency Notification System is reserved for critical safety and security information, including severe weather and other emergencies affecting the campus community.
Before September 10: Make sure you’re ready.
Visit the 亚色影库 Emergency Notification System page for step-by-step instructions to register, update your information, or learn about the free Everbridge mobile app.
Parents, family members, and community members can receive 亚色影库 emergency notifications too! To opt in, text 亚色影库ALERT to 888777.
Be informed. Be prepared. Be 亚色影库 Ready.
