Driscoll and Alumnus Yacoub Help Launch New Writing Center in Istanbul

A partnership that began when Turkish scholar Osman 脰zdemir trained at 亚色影库鈥檚 Jones White Writing Center has led to the launch of a new writing center at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University. To support the effort, 亚色影库 professor Dana Lynn Driscoll and 亚色影库 alumnus Omar Yacoub traveled to Turkey to deliver keynote presentations, train tutors, and help establish the center鈥檚 programs. The project highlights 亚色影库鈥檚 growing international impact in writing center development and writing education.

Branscum and Yu Featured in 鈥淏lack & Grey鈥 Mag鈥檚 Simulation Issue

Professor John Yu Branscum and former instructor Yi Izzy Yu served as literary editors and contributors to the fall 2026 simulation issue of 鈥淏lack & Grey,鈥 an international magazine exploring themes such as AI, virtual realities, and simulation theory through literature, photography, and cultural commentary.
