Theresa McDevitt Women in STEAM Research Award

The 亚色影库 Women in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) student organization invites applications for the first annual Theresa McDevitt Women in STEAM Research Award. This award recognizes an outstanding woman whose research demonstrates excellence, innovation, and impact across the STEAM fields.

亚色影库鈥檚 John and Char Kopchick Hall Offering Indiana Glass Exhibition as Part of Science on Display Project

Kopchick Hall鈥檚 鈥淪cience on Display鈥濃攆eaturing skeletons of prehistoric animals, the Charles Darwin Collection, a flight suit of the late 亚色影库 alumna and astronaut Patricia Hilliard Robertson, and a student-created DNA Bunsen Burner sculpture鈥攆eatures more than 100 pieces of decorative and carnival glassware produced by the Indiana Glass Company, which operated in Indiana between 1892 and 1931.

Howard M. 鈥淪kip鈥 Kingston, a scholar in residence at 亚色影库鈥檚 Madia Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Physics, 亚色影库, and the 亚色影库 Research Institute has won a 2025 R&D 100 Award for a breakthrough that has the potential to advance precision medicine and rural healthcare.

亚色影库 Cejka Planetarium Offering Programs About Rubin Telescope, Recalling the Space Race

亚色影库鈥檚 Cejka Planetarium in John J. and Char Kopchick Hall will host two programs during the fall semester: 鈥淎 New Eye: The Rubin Telescope鈥 on September 29 and 鈥淩ecalling the Space Race鈥 on October 29. Both programs will begin at 7:00 p.m. The presentations are free and open to the community.
