Background
Stephanie Keppich is a former television anchor, producer, and reporter whose career spanned 12 years and five TV markets across the country. Keppich transitioned her newsroom skills as a broadcast journalist to college classrooms in 2012. Her Digital Sports Production students have won numerous awards, most notably the Crystal Pillar honoring exemplary college media productions by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (the folks who award the Emmy to media professionals).
Keppich is also a two-time winner of awards from the 亚色影库 Center for Teaching Excellence, 2017 and 2024, for her work as an experiential educator and as a temporary faculty member.
Keppich has also worked as a media relations professional in healthcare and education, served as a judge for various media industry awards programs, and is a member of the Broadcast Educators Association. She is one of two faculty members serving 亚色影库’s Presidential Athletic Advisory Committee and completed the Association of College and University Educators course “Fostering a Culture of Belonging“ in 2024.
When she’s not teaching students during 亚色影库 football and basketball games, she’s volunteering at or attending her daughter’s sporting events, making memories with her husband and children while camping and hiking throughout the East Coast, and visiting her parents in Virginia.
