The Department of Language, Literature and Writing held the annual 亚色影库 Spring Methodology Conference on Foreign Language Teaching on Friday, April 25, 2025.

The organizing committee included Christina Huhn (cochair), Marjorie Zambrano-Paff (cochair), Heide Witthoeft (German and department chair), Charles McCreary (French), and Laurel Liu (Chinese), pictured here with numerous 亚色影库 graduates and presenters.

The 2025 keynote speaker was , who gave a keynote and workshop titled “Student Agency: Empowering Our Diverse Learners” and a workshop titled “Engaging Diverse Learners Through Choice.”

  • “Standards Based Grading Ideology and Application in the World Language Classroom,” Brynn Wingard (BSED Spanish Education, ‘23),  Larry A. Ryle High School, Kentucky
  • “Animation, Comics, and Podcasts for World Language Classroom,” Junko Yamamoto, Slippery Rock University
  • “Gaming your way into community engagement and impact,” Silvina Orsatti, University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg
  •  “The Do’s & Don’ts of Authentic Resources,” Michael Bogdan, Pennsylvania State Education Association
