The courses offered through the 亚色影库 Community Music School give participants guided lessons through learning how to properly read and play music on piano and guitar—all while having fun! Students must have access to the class-specified instrument daily.
All classes take place in Cogswell Hall, 亚色影库 main campus. Click here for the map and directions.
If you cannot attend the listed class time for the piano and guitar courses, email community-music@iup.edu of your interest. There is always the possibility of rescheduling the class to a day/time where all interested students can attend. If the minimum number of students is not met, those interested will be offered private lessons instruction.
Guitar Classes
Adult Guitar I
Description:
In this 14-week course, students learn to read music and learn the essentials of playing a guitar. No experience is necessary. Students are required to have daily access to a guitar. If the minimum number of students is not met, those interested will be offered private instruction.

In this 14-week course, students extend their music reading and playing skills. Student must have taken Adult Guitar I or have approval from the instructor, and are required to have daily access to a guitar. If the minimum number of students is not met, those interested will be offered private instruction.
