Effective March 2026

Graduate Students

Registration PINs will no longer be assigned to graduate students; no registration holds will be assigned. All graduate students begin to register on Wednesday, April 1, unless in a priority registration group. Please contact your advisor to schedule an advising session.

Undergraduate Students

Registration PINs will no longer be assigned; instead, registration holds will be placed on all undergraduate students’ records beginning March 3, 2026, through August 31, 2026. The hold will be released by the advisor during the student’s advising session. Please contact your advisor to schedule an advising session.

The holds will prevent any individual course withdrawal from the current spring term during the specified time period, so it is extremely important for students to contact their advisors to schedule an advising session and have their hold released.

To view the hold status, follow the instructions below.

Time Conflict Courses

Undergraduates must complete a Time Conflict Resolution Form. This form is required if there are two classes conflicting in time. For example, one class begins at the same time another class ends. Forms can be secured from the Scheduling Center, located within the Office of the Registrar, third floor of Clark Hall, or from one of the departmental offices of the conflicting courses.
