*Internal medicine/Pediatrics Subspecialty rotation areas may include, but are not limited to, the following: allergy/immunology, cardiology, critical care medicine, diagnostic imaging (radiology), dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, hematology/oncology, infectious disease, ophthalmology, pulmonology, nephrology, neurology, rheumatology, and wound care. Approval by the Office of Clinical Affairs is required.

** Subspecialty Medicine rotation includes any area of medicine not already required as a core, required, or selective rotation, such as, but not limited to, the following: aerospace medicine, anesthesiology, clinical genetics (medical genetics/genomics),
diagnostic/nuclear/interventional radiology, dermatology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurological surgery, neurology, ophthalmology, osteopathic manipulative medicine, pathology (anatomic or clinical), plastic surgery, nuclear medicine, occupational and environmental medicine, orthopedic surgery, ENT surgery, public health/general preventative medicine, vascular surgery, urology, thoracic surgery, reproductive endocrinology, radiation oncology. Approval by the Office of Clinical Affairs is required.

^ Each Core or Required rotation is of 4-week duration and requires in-person patient care. Selective and elective rotations are customarily of 4-week duration, but this may vary based upon individual student, site, and logistical needs and preferences.
