亚色影库’s College of Osteopathic Medicine will utilize a coordinated set of simulation and standardized patient facilities across three campus buildings that support early clinical skills development through hands‑on, experiential learning.

Standardized patient activities will be housed in McElhaney Hall. The second floor includes nine fully equipped standardized patient examination rooms designed to replicate typical outpatient clinical settings. These rooms support student practice in history taking, physical examinations, communication skills, and osteopathic manipulative medicine in a controlled environment. Each room includes an examination table, handwashing sink, medical supplies, recording technology, and space for faculty observation and feedback. Dedicated student waiting areas, debriefing rooms, and nearby clinical faculty offices support real‑time coaching, reflection, and assessment.
Simulated patient activities will take place in Johnson Hall and Putt Hall, both of which support nursing and health‑related instruction and are equipped for low‑ and high‑fidelity simulation experiences.

Johnson Hall provides a combination of high‑fidelity and skills‑based simulation spaces. High‑fidelity adult simulation rooms are supported by a central control and observation room with one‑way glass for faculty oversight. A large classroom equipped with video and audio technology allows students to observe simulations and participate in group debriefing. Additional laboratories support skills development using low‑fidelity manikins and task trainers for procedures such as wound care, airway management, and line placement. Storage areas, student study space, and support rooms are located adjacent to the simulation areas.
Putt Hall expands simulation capacity with a diverse range of environments. High‑fidelity suites include adult, obstetrics and gynecology, neonatal, pediatric, and community home‑care simulation spaces, supported by centralized control and observation rooms. Low‑fidelity laboratories support pediatric and adolescent skills practice. Putt Hall also includes a virtual‑reality‑enhanced simulation space for multi‑student immersive scenarios, as well as multiple teaching, conference, and debriefing rooms. Flexible student waiting and study areas and dedicated simulation storage spaces support efficient scheduling and safe equipment management.
Together, McElhaney Hall, Johnson Hall, and Putt Hall provide a comprehensive, scalable learning environment that supports standardized patient encounters, low‑ and high‑fidelity simulation, interprofessional collaboration, and structured feedback — all aligned with early clinical training and experiential learning goals.
