All candidates (both incoming and current) are required to have a Castle Branch account for managing their clearances. The Castle Branch management system will allow students to upload, maintain, and access their clearances from any electronic device.
Deadlines for Clearances

Student teachers must have all clearances updated and uploaded into Castle Branch by August 1 or January 1 in order to begin the placement.

Pre-Student Teaching (EDUC 242, 342, 493, etc.) students must have all clearances updated and uploaded into Castle Branch by the first day of the semester of field placement.

Clearances that are expired or not updated for the entire semester by the deadlines set forth above will result in placement cancellation
by the EPP Office.
